Private Drum Lessons

Brett tailors his flexible teaching style to meet each student's unique learning needs, fostering a supportive environment that encourages growth and progression. As a drum instructor, his goal is to inspire students to reach their potential, just as his own instructors did for him.

All lessons either 30 minutes or 60 minutes and are done on real drum kits. Hearing protection is recommended.

BEGINNER

  • Introduction to the drum kit and basic music reading.
  • Focus on listening skills for grooves and cues.
  • Structured, step-by-step learning program.

Goal: Equip students to play drums along with a song of their choice.

INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED:

  • Discuss individual goals and desired achievements.
  • Reinforce fundamentals for top-level performance.
  • Learn advanced stick techniques and live performance skills (e.g., playing with bands or in church).
  • Explore various genres to expand versatility.
