Biography

Brett Attig is a dynamic drummer and educator based on Vancouver Island, bringing energy and precision to every performance. With a diverse background spanning Rock, Punk, Hip Hop, Pop, and Metal, he continues to push his craft, always striving for growth and innovation behind the kit.
Shaped by world-class mentors like Mike Johnston, Carter McLean, Eddy Thrower, Jordan Burns, Eric Sommer, and Melvin Murray, Brett has developed a unique and versatile drumming style. His dedication to the instrument is evident in both his live performances and studio work.
As the driving force behind Wet Future, Brett is deeply immersed in the Vancouver Island music scene. He has performed and recorded with artists such as Sirreal ft. Blue Satellite, Chase Spencer, Baby Jane, Wise YoungBlood, William Gale, Shepard, and The Distributors, while collaborating in the studio with renowned producers Malcom Owen Flood and Rob “The Viking” Hooper (of Swollen Members).
Beyond performing, Brett is passionate about sharing his knowledge through drum instruction, inspiring the next generation of musicians.
